Nicola D. Allen

Nicola obtained her undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University in 2005, her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2008 and was called to the bar in May of 2009. Nicola joined the firm in 2006 and has had a primary focus on family law since that time.

While at law school, Nicola was an active member of both the Law Student's Legal Advice Program which provided free legal services to lower income individuals and the CoRe Conflict Resolution Program which provides volunteer mediation services. She was also the co-captain of the UBC Law Women's Rugby Team.

Since joining Schuman Daltrop Basran & Robin, Nicola has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia, has negotiated settlements for her clients and drafted marriage and separation agreements which address a variety of issues.

Nicola is currently a volunteer with the Access Justice program providing legal services specific to the area of family law to lower income parties. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association Family Law subsection.
